Luxmore Jet operates jet boating tours on the Upper Waiau River which flows between Lake Te Anau and beautiful Lake Manapouri in the Fiordland National Park and was used to portray parts of the River Anduin in the first of the Lord of the Rings trilogy "The Fellowship of the Ring".

Luxmore Jet operates a Helijet (helicopter/jetboat) tour in conjunction with Southern Lakes Helicopters.
Take a one hour jetboat ride with Luxmore Jet on the Upper Waiau River to view Lord of the Rings filmlocations. On your return Southern Lakes Helicopters will be awaiting to take you on a 40 minute flight over the Kepler Mire where Frodo and Sam tramped through the Dead Marshes.
Fly over Lake Manapouri to the Nor West Lakes where the Fellowship left Rivendell. Here the helicopter will land to view the magnificence of the Nor West Lakes and Lake Manapouri before returning to Te Anau.
